My Vision
Food has the power to create memories and experiences that last a lifetime. Dessert has been my medium to make and share these memories. Some of the most simple desserts and flavours are those that can evoke nostalgia which is why I believe in using a solid foundation of quality ingredients and flavours.
I believe in finding inspiration from everything around me. There are details in our daily lives that are easily overlooked because of the fast-paced world that we live in. The only effective way I have created anything over the years is by stopping and observing. I am always surprised at what my observations allow me to create.
Dessert is an art, and art is all I have known throughout my life. I’ve spent years of my life sketching, painting, singing, and cooking but now I’m focused on how to bring your dessert vision to fruition. No occasion is too small or big for me to create something truly memorable. There are hundreds of occasions to be celebrated with desserts and you decide how special you want them to be-leave the rest to me.

Manal’s Diwali Ras Mali cake was one of the best cakes I’ve ever tasted. I gifted it to my mom, but she saved me a slice as well! It was delivered on time. She was very surprised. Def the best pairing with a nice hot cup of chai!

We recently had the pleasure of having two cakes from Manal. The first was a custom lemon chiffon for my son's second birthday. She was amazing to deal with. I gave her an idea, and she ran with it. When we saw the cake, it exceeds our expectations. The craftsmanship, the little details. We love the clean, simple design. The cake was very flavorful, and moist. The balance of flavour, the ratio of buttercream to cake. The lemon was pronounced but not overpowering. The second cake was chocolate hazelnut, with salted caramel tarts. Again, exceeds our expectations. Everything is just on point. Everything we had from Manal has been truly amazing. Very happy with both cakes and will be going back again and again.

We loved our entire experience with Manal! From cake tasting to seeing the actual cake on our wedding day was amazing. Manal gave us a list of flavours that we could select from which, were all very unique and different than anything I’ve tried elsewhere. The salted caramel flavour was our favourite – divine tasting because it was an absolute perfect blend of saltiness and sweetness. At our wedding we had a large sweets table and at the very end all the guests could talk about was our wedding cake! It was moist, flavourful, and Manal executed our vision perfectly. The sugar flowers she hand crafted were absolutely gorgeous – I kept them and now it will forever remind me of our wedding day! We could not have been happier with Manal and very thankful we chose her to make our cake! Thank you!!
