All dessert orders are subject to the following terms and conditions:

Ingredients

Our cakes are freshly baked to order and include dairy products. We use only halal/kosher animal products (i.e.: fish gelatin) in our mousse cakes, creams and jellies. Please note that our kitchen is generally used to prepare foods that contain these ingredients that are classified as allergens (i.e.: nuts, soy products, dairy and gluten). Please discuss any dietary requirements with us before ordering.

Design

Our desserts are all handmade and are therefore individual. We will do our best to match designs and colours but there may be some variance. We cannot guarantee to produce the same dessert ordered from a picture/photo from other bakers. Our designs will be an interpretation of their cakes.

We reserve the right to use our judgment when creating and designing your cake and we may need to adjust your order accordingly. In the event of this happening we will endeavor to advise you in advance.

Orders

Orders are accepted in our online store, over the telephone, email and our contact form on this website. We require 2 day notice for bake shop cakes and desserts. For food safety reasons, orders will not be kept over 48 hours if not picked up. Please plan to pick up or have your cake delivered on the day you intend on consuming it.

Any orders for themed celebration or wedding cakes require a 10 day notice and design confirmation along with a 50% non-refundable deposit prior to pickup/delivery. ALL details must be reviewed by client to verify for any errors in date, delivery address or any other order details. Manal Bashir Pastry Co. is not responsible for errors in date or delivery address for bakeshop and custom cakes. Client must verify all details prior to making payments

Sales and Promotions

Most of our sales and discounted promotions apply only to bakeshop items purchased in our online store. Custom cakes or products are not included unless specified otherwise. Manal Bashir Pastry Co. reserves the right to modify, cancel and limit any promotion or offer. We reserve the right to refuse providing offers and/or promotions to particular individuals or organizations at our discretion. No warranties or guarantees are made.

Payment

Dessert orders must be paid in full when placing your order. Cash, credit/debit or e-transfer payments are accepted.

For large orders, such as wedding cakes, sweet tables, or themed celebration cakes, a minimum 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking and the remaining balance is to be paid on collection.

Amendments

Any amendment to your order must be confirmed via email/writing as soon as possible, and may be subject to an additional charge if extra work is required. We will do our best to accommodate last minute changes, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation, work already completed is still chargeable. A minimum of 48 hours is required to cancel all bakeshop orders. We require a one week notice for any cancellations of custom orders in which case, initial deposits are non-refundable.

Collection/delivery

All cakes can be collected from Manal Bashir during our hours of operation. Delivery is available within the GTA with an additional fee. Once cakes have been collected or delivered we cannot be held responsible for any accidental damage that may occur afterwards. If possible, we will help repair any damage, but this will incur extra costs for time and materials used.

Terms listed above applies all external delivery services, couriers and food delivery apps.

By ordering through Manal Bashir Pastry Co. you agree to use adequate air conditioning during summer months and follow our suggestions for the best set up for the cake in your vehicle during pick up.

Publication

We reserve the right to use photos of all cakes and desserts made by Manal Bashir in any form of media.

Acceptance

By placing an order with Manal Bashir you are agreeing to these terms.
